Sameem Behavioral Health - Alcohol & Drug Addiction Treatment in Massachusetts

High School Student Addiction Programs

Outpatient Addiction Treatment for High School Students

Supporting Massachusetts Educators in Student Wellness

Our adolescent program is tailored to meet the unique needs of students grappling with substance use and mental health disorders like  anxiety, depression, and stress. Our flexible Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) accommodates students' school schedules, minimizing disruption to their academic pursuits while receiving essential care.

Group therapy is typically the cornerstone of our approach in both Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and our more moderate outpatient programs.  Family therapy is offered both as a standalone service and integrated into our adolescent IOP program. We recognize the importance of family involvement in the recovery process and strive to create a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth.

Upon initiating care, and assuming the student provides required written releases, we maintain open lines of communication with referring schools and guidance counselors, providing updates on the student's progress as appropriate. Our collaborative approach extends to tailoring the student's care program to align with their school schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to their academic commitments.

With over 40 years of dedicated service and partnership with the addiction and education communities, Sameem has cultivated strong relationships within many local school systems, allowing us to collaborate effectively with schools, high school guidance counselors, and parents to provide comprehensive support to struggling students.
